It could be possible to argue that it is not Facebook's fault. After all, Facebook is a mere tool. It is people who became lazy when they were introduced to this tool. However, when we are developing tools to serve humanity - should we not make tools that bring progress to people? Should tools not be extensions of our capabilities - making our natural capabilities better, not worse? Should we not aspire to be better humans, rather than better machines?

I love my wife so much. I just want her to be happy. Right now she feels like she has little she can feel happy about herself. I keep reminding her of the sacrifices she has made for me and the kids but it sometimes is not enough as we all need to be proud and happy with ourselves too.

As a futurist and designer, I constantly disrupt and look for better ways to make a difference through innovative design thinking. As a father, I am also deeply concerned about the education process. I have 2 children who are in private education and fear that they are in danger of just learning better ways of how to conform and not truly innovate; not challenge the status quo. I don't have to tell you how important a well planned, imaginative, practical education system is in linking academia to the real world of business. We should be training young people to be leaders and enablers who can reshape the world we live in.

I have been promised coffe and croissants this morning! It is from a good friend but I must admit that if anyone offers me good coffee and a pastry, I am probably more likely to give them the time of day and get to know them. Food and a good coffee are the best ways to get to know someone, especially at the start of a day.
